Dusty Fancher has extensive experience working with Michigan’s government. Prior to joining Midwest Strategy Group, Dusty served in the Governor’s Office as the Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs. In this position, she served as the Governor’s representative to the Michigan Senate, coordinated legislative policy positions for 19 state departments, and negotiated legislation and policy with local governments, interest groups, lobbyists, and elected officials.
Prior to working in the Administration, Dusty served as Legislative Liaison for the Michigan Department of Transportation. She also has experience working inside the Legislature, serving as the primary Policy Analyst for the Michigan Senate.
Dusty received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Community Relations and Master’s Degree in Resource Development from Michigan State University.
